Two students won first-place presentation awards at their sessions.

First Place, Clair Williams (in photo), Communication Studies, "To Age, or Not to Age-That is the Question: Analyzing and Debunking the Cultural Fetish and Youth Obsessed Societal Construction Known as Anti-Aging" (advisor Dr. April Chatham-Carpenter)
Kiranjeet Dhillon and April Larson also presented their paper, "A Rhetorical Analysis of 'What Makes a Family': Zach Wahl's Speech to Iowa" (advisor Catherine Helen Palcewski).
